EDIT: Uggh! Her face is all screwed!! :X I like everything else but if i could just shift her face better onto her head then maybe I would be pleased! And to think I slaved over this when I was making it!

Coraline in basically my favorite scene (I love every part of this movie, honestly, but this was a very epic scene).
The famous "last resort" Coraline does in an attempt to stop the rat from taking the last ghost eye.

I had this movie still to use for some reference, but practically, the whole image is my own. I changed her stance a bit which I am glad I did, and I also ruffled her hair too (I mean, the girl got ambushed by cotton candy and was tripped by evil rat's tails!). :)

As you can probably see, I used some new techniques for this piece in particular. I added a shine to her hair, vest, and cotton candy cones. I found this "smearing" tool which I used for most of the shading and this other giant tool which can add a "papery" texture to the overall picture. I'm terrible at backgrounds, so I hope this suffices.

Really Cool! I like the texture too! =D And you shade the way I shade now, useing the smudge tool! =D Only I do it a different way. I shade the whole head to make it look like strands of hair! =D

This looks awesome, I'd only recommend that the right side of her head looks a bit stretched out, her hair should be a little looser and close to her face and her ear would not be visible if the hair was flying outwards that way.

But otherwise awesome. You draw Coraline so well. ;u;

This scene was so epic! And everyone else did too, 'cause I heard a lot of kids saying things like "Yay Coraline!", "Go Coraline!!" "Yeeeeaaaaahh!!". :XD: What a crowd it was when this happened. Then they get devastated when she falls off the balcony. T.T
